MLW has confirmed the final entrant in the Opera Cup tournament as well as the announcement of a Middleweight Championship match for ‘Fightland’ on October 2nd.
On Wednesday, it was first reported by Fightful Select that Alex Shelley would be the eighth and final entrant in the Opera Cup tournament. The quarterfinals and semifinals of the tournament will take place next month at ‘Fightland’ at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia with Shelley joining Davey Richards, Tom Lawlor, TJP, Calvin Tankman, Matt Cross, Lee Moriarty, and Bobby Fish.
Company CEO Court Bauer announced on Wednesday’s edition of Busted Open Radio that MLW Middleweight Champion Myron Reed will be defending the title at ‘Fightland’ against Tajiri, Arez, and Aramis.
The October 2nd ‘Fightland’ card will be headlined by a Title vs. Title match between MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu and National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone.
