The current WWE Champion Big E appeared on the 9/17 SmackDown. He and Finn Balor defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso). This coming Monday on Raw in Raleigh, North Carolina, New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) are going to be taking on The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & The Usos).
Announced for the 9/24 SmackDown is Shinsuke Nakamura defending his Intercontinental Title against Apollo Crews. Nakamura won the title from Crews in August.
Adding on to the 9/24 lineup is a singles match between Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega. Morgan is scheduled to go one-on-one with Carmella at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
Naomi confronted Sonya Deville on the show. Naomi has been trying to get Deville’s attention for weeks but she told Deville that she will get her match that she has been requesting. Naomi was ‘fined’ for ‘insubordination’
