GCW will present Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport next month and has announced the first set of participants for the show in Los Angeles.

During his U.S. tour, Minoru Suzuki will participate at Bloodsport after two prior appearances on the series. At the inaugural show in April 2018, Suzuki headlined the show submitting Riddle in New Orleans. The New Japan star returned in April 2019 and fought Josh Barnett to a time limit draw.

The group has also announced former MMA fighter and NXT performer Marina Shafir, Killer Kelly, and Calvin Tankman for the show.

Shafir had a 1-2 record in MMA before shifting to professional wrestling and signed with WWE in 2018 and was paired with Jessamyn Duke on television. She was among the cuts from this past June.

Killer Kelly participated at Bloodsport last October in the Women’s tournament, losing to Allysin Kay.

Tankman has worked on three previous Bloodsport shows against Alexander James, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and Nolan Edward.

Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 7 takes place on Friday, October 22nd at the Ukrainian Culture Center in Los Angeles and will stream on Fite TV.
