WWE Raw notes: Roman Reigns pins Bobby Lashley, Keith Lee’s nickname, Flair/Bliss

Big E, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley headline Raw, Reigns gets two wins in one night, Bliss and Flair build to Extreme Rules and more

Headlining the 9/20 WWE Raw was a Triple-Threat match between Bobby Lashley, WWE Champion Big E and Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Reigns picked up the win by pinning Bobby Lashley.

New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) kicked off Raw. Big E spoke about his WWE Title win and thanked one of his close friends that is watching from above and the crowd began to chant ‘Brodie’. This led to the six-man tag between New Day and The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & The Usos). Reigns pinned Xavier Woods in that match. The conclusion of the match saw Bobby Lashley get involved. He took out Big E, Kofi Kingston and speared Roman Reigns after Reigns got the win.

Following the allegations that Heidi Doyle made against Ric Flair in Dark Side of the Ring’s ‘Plane Ride From Hell’ episode, Flair’s signature ‘woo’ was removed from the WWE show intro. Flair did release a statement in response to the allegations.

Keith Lee competed in a dark match prior to Raw going live on USA Network. Lee’s new nickname is ‘Bearcat’.

During Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss’ segment on Raw, Bliss stated that the ‘woo’ chant is not Charlotte’s and it is not original. Flair responded by telling Bliss to not bring up originality.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax went one-on-one and Baszler scored the win. She attacked Nia post-match as well.
