WWE NXT 2.0 notes: Toxic Attraction ambushes Raquel Gonzalez, Tony D’Angelo’s debut

The NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez defeated Franky Monet in the main event to retain her title. Post-match, Monet, Robert Stone, Jessi Kamea and Raquel Gonzalez were all beat down by Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacey Jayne).

There were multiple announcements made for the October 5th edition of NXT that includes the following:

  • L.A. Knight vs. Odyssey Jones
  • Cora Jade in action
  • Tony D’Angelo’s debut
  • Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen & MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) vs. Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams and Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson)

Zoey Stark and Io Shirai continued their reign as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions when they defeated Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne on tonight’s program.

While Andre Chase was going one-on-one with Boa, he went to the outside and approached Mei Ying which led to Chase being sprayed with clear mist. Boa secured the win shortly after.

To open NXT 2.0, Legado Del Fantasma’s Elektra Lopez defeated Hit Row’s B-FAB in a No-DQ match.
