WWE announces two upcoming tournaments.
As the 2021 WWE Draft edition of Friday Night SmackDown rolled on, the company announced that beginning next week, the Queen’s Crown and King of the Ring tournaments will kick off.
This past July, Wrestling Inc. first reported that WWE was planning to host a Queen of the Ring tournament.

The last time WWE hosted the King of the Ring tournament was in 2019 and the winner was Baron Corbin. Corbin lost his crown to Shinsuke Nakamura and now Nakamura is being referred to as ‘King Nakamura’.
