AEW introduces their newest championship.
To kick off the second hour of AEW Dynamite’s two-year anniversary show, the new TBS Championship was unveiled. Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards were present for the announcement.
The title is going to be contested for in the women’s division and there will be a tournament to crown the first-ever champion. AEW Dynamite is moving to TBS on January 5th, 2022 but Rampage will remain on TNT.

Several weeks ago, it was reported by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast that a secondary women’s championship was going to be introduced in AEW.
There were no further details about when the TBS Championship tournament will kick off but the unveiling of the title will be discussed on the next Rewind-A-Dynamite episode here on POST Wrestling.
