AJ Lee is involved in wrestling again.

David McLane and Los Angeles Lakers President Jeanie Buss were present for the announcement of the return of WOW (Women Of Wrestling). Joining the team as an Executive Producer is former three-time WWE Divas Champion AJ Mendez (AJ Lee).

Tessa Blanchard is going to be a part of the organization as well as she was present for the press conference and featured in the promotional material for the show.

Blanchard was last in action in September for Warrior Wrestling. Controversy arose around Blanchard in January 2020 after a number of her former colleagues spoke about her past actions and comments, one of which included her allegedly using a racial slur towards La Rosa Negra which Blanchard denied.

This past summer, Blanchard’s contract with IMPACT Wrestling was terminated.
