The former UFC Heavyweight Champion will make his in-ring debut.
Newly crowned TNT Champion Sammy Guevara had his first title defense on the 10/6 edition of Dynamite. He scored a win over Bobby Fish. Post-match, Guevara was crowded and ambushed by Scorpio Sky and American Top Team.
This led to Chris Jericho and Jake Hager running in for the save after Fuego Del Sol failed to to do so minutes prior. Dan Lambert then grabbed a microphone and proposed a match for the Saturday Night Dynamite in Miami, Florida on 10/16. The Inner Circle (Sammy Guevara, Chris Jericho & Jake Hager) will meet Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos.
This past March, dos Santos was released from the UFC. He has been appearing on AEW programming since American Top Team became regulars on the program. Jorge Masvidal will be in the corner of American Top Team for the match.

This bout will be dos Santos’ first pro wrestling match. Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page) defeated Jericho and Hager at Rampage Grand Slam.
