The live edition of AEW Rampage tonight will open with a commercial-free match between CM Punk and Matt Sydal.
Tony Khan announced the news Friday that the live episode on TNT would open with a commercial-free match to combat Friday Night SmackDown on FS1, which has been extended to 2 ½ hours this week.

SmackDown will air from 8-10:30 p.m. ET with the final 30 minutes airing commercial-free on FS1.
It will be Punk’s fourth match since returning to pro wrestling after matches with Darby Allin, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Daniel Garcia on AEW programming.
SmackDown will be highlighted by an appearance from Brock Lesnar and a match between SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks along with the semi-finals of the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments.
