Cain Velasquez and Kenny Omega bouts announced for Triplemania Regia.
AAA pushed out the promotional material for their Triplemania Regia show on December 4th. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez were featured on the poster for the event.
AAA held a press conference today that streamed on Facebook and Velasquez and Omega’s matches for 12/4 were announced. Omega is set to defend the Mega Championship against Hijo del Vikingo.
Cain Velasquez is going to be in tag team action as he’ll team with Psycho Clown and Pagano to take on Black Taurus, Rey Escorpion and their mystery partner.

Omega was last in AAA in August when he successfully retained the Mega Title by defeating Andrade El Idolo. Both Konnan and Ric Flair were ringside for the match and got involved.
Cain Velasquez has not wrestled for AAA since 2019 at their show in New York City. He competed at Triplemania that same year and teamed with Psycho Clown and Cody Rhodes to defeat Karrion Kross, Texano Jr. and Taurus. Before Velasquez was released from WWE, his last match in the company was at a house show in Mexico City where he and Humberto Carrillo took on Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.
