AEW has confirmed the signing of 23-year old Daniel Garcia with an “All Elite” graphic released on Tuesday.
Garcia began performing for AEW in September 2020 for AEW Dark and returned this past May for another set of matches with Joey Janela and Lee Johnson.
Over the summer, Garcia became a featured talent in the promotion wrestling several high-profile matches on Dynamite and Rampage including ones with Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, and CM Punk on the October 6th edition of Rampage.
Garcia has been linked with 2point0 on AEW programming and received public accolades from CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.
Garcia has continued wrestling on the independent scene throughout his time appearing on AEW and has wrestled the likes of Minoru Suzuki, Christopher Daniels, and Jay White over the past month.
I told myself that I didn’t want to sign somewhere just to say I got a contract. I wanted to go somewhere that would help me become the best wrestler in the world. I know AEW is where I can become that.
I plan on being a major player in this company for a very long time. https://t.co/3yTQPwIRf2
