WWE Crown Jewel notes: Becky Lynch retains, Tareg Hamedi, Hell In A Cell

Raw's Becky Lynch is still SmackDown Women's Champion, Olympian Tareg Hamedi drops Mustafa Ali, Edge vs. Rollins and more at Crown Jewel

The SmackDown Women’s Championship was on the line in a Triple-Threat at Crown Jewel. The champion Becky Lynch is a member of the Raw roster along with Bianca Belair. Sasha Banks is a member of the SmackDown roster. Becky retained the title after she pinned Sasha Banks with a roll-up. This past Monday on Raw, Bianca Belair challenged SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair for her Raw Women’s Title and the match resulted in a disqualification.

Olympic silver medalist Tareg Hamedi made a surprise appearance following Mansoor’s win over Mustafa Ali. Tareg gave Mustafa a roundhouse kick and celebrated with Mansoor as they walked to the backstage area.

Seth Rollins and Edge had their tiebreaker match inside Hell In A Cell. Edge got the win after he ‘Curb Stomped’ Rollins onto a chair.

Prior to the Raw Tag Title match officially getting underway, Riddle rode to the ring on a camel. He and Randy Orton retained their titles by defeating AJ Styles and Omos.

The final sequence of Goldberg and Bobby Lashley’s match saw Goldberg spear Lashley off the stage for the victory. Prior to SummerSlam 2021, Goldberg said he had two matches left on his current WWE contract.

The main event of Crown Jewel saw Roman Reigns retain his Universal Championship over Brock Lesnar. During the Kickoff show, Reigns and Lesnar’s match was changed to a No-DQ bout but then it was quickly reverted back to a traditional singles match.
