The TBS Championship tournament will begin on Saturday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from Orlando, Florida.
AEW President Tony Khan announced on Busted Open Radio that following tonight’s reveal of the bracket that the tournament will begin on Saturday.
The tournament to crown the inaugural champion will feature twelve women with four receiving first-round byes.
The creation of the second women’s championship in AEW coincides with Dynamite moving to TBS beginning January 5, 2022.
The special Saturday Night edition of Dynamite takes place from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida with the following updated lineup:
*World Title Eliminator Tournament: Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes
* World Title Eliminator Tournament: Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer
*Malakai Black vs. Cody Rhodes
*TBS Championship Tournament: TBA vs. TBA
