WWE SmackDown notes: Adam Pearce ‘suspends’ Brock Lesnar, Sami Zayn, King Woods

Adam Pearce gets F5'd for 'suspending' Lesnar, Sami Zayn gets a new theme, Hit Row debuts and Drew McIntyre appears on SmackDown

To open the 10/22 SmackDown, Brock Lesnar confronted and brawled with Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) after being called out by Reigns. Lesnar tossed around producer Shawn Daivari and referee Chad Patton. Lesnar also took out several talents who were sent out to break up the brawl. After things calmed down, Adam Pearce announced that Lesnar is ‘indefinitely suspended’ which led to Brock coming back to the ring and giving Pearce an F5.

Drew McIntyre had his first match on SmackDown since being drafted over to the brand. He picked up a win over Sami Zayn. Zayn also debuted a new theme song.

Hit Row’s Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott and Top Dolla were in action and they defeated two local talents.

After defeating Finn Balor at WWE Crown Jewel to become King of the Ring, Xavier Woods had his coronation. Kofi Kingston did the honors of introducing Woods as ‘King Xavier Woods’.

Happy Corbin went one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and defeated the champion.
