SmackDown ring announcer Greg Hamilton has been released from WWE, per a report by PWInsider.
Hamilton (real name Greg Hutson) first joined WWE in 2015. Dating back to 2016, Hutson had been the ring announcer for the SmackDown brand.
Several days ago, Hutson took to social media to take umbrage with Hip-Hop artist Westside Gunn for using a sample of his voice in a song. Hutson threatened to take legal action against Westside Gunn.
Greg’s Instagram profile still has WWE-related mentions but his Twitter profile is no longer affiliated with the company.
