NXT 2.0 receives a boost with Halloween Havoc, best figures since 9/14

The Halloween Havoc edition of NXT 2.0 saw the show hit its best mark in over a month while airing against the World Series.

The October 26th episode that had been promoted for multiple weeks averaged 746,000 viewers and 0.18 in the 18-49 demographic and finished 11th among cable originals, per Showbuzz Daily.

It was a big night for live sports with Game 1 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves averaging 10,811,000 viewers on Fox while the cable numbers were led by the NBA game between Philadelphia and the New York Knicks with 1,431,000 viewers and 0.59 in 18-49.

It was NXT’s best figures since the second week of the revamp on September 21st that did 746,000 viewers and 0.20 in 18-49. They were up 23 percent in overall viewership and 29 percent in 18-49 from last week’s episode.

NXT saw double-digit gains across the board including Males 12-34 growing from 0.08 to 0.14 (75 percent), Adults 18-34 up from 0.08 to 0.13 (62.5 percent), and Females 18-49 improving by 57 percent.

Last year’s Halloween Havoc episode averaged 876,000 and 0.25 in 18-49, a level that NXT has not hit since that episode in October 2020.

The numbers in Canada were delayed but we should have the figures on Thursday.
