The next NXT 2.0 special is expected to take place on Sunday, December 5th with an official announcement forthcoming.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics first reported the date late Monday night and would signal the first Sunday night special since the NXT 2.0 rebrand that went into effect this past September.
Tentative date for the first NXT 2.0 Takeover is Sunday, December 5, according to multiple sources. Have asked but couldn’t confirm if “Takeover” will continue to be the brand name.

It is unknown if the event will be billed as a TakeOver event. There has not been an event branded under that name since August during the prior iteration of NXT.

A new episode of NXT 2.0 airs Tuesday night on the USA Network with the following matches and segments advertised:
*Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams vs. Johnny Gargano & Dexter Lumis
*Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner vs. Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza
*Cameron Grimes enters Duke Hudson’s Poker Room
