Busick inked a new deal with WWE when he was moved to the 205 Live roster.

Following WWE’s third quarter earnings call, 18 talents were released from the company and one of those names was Biff Busick, the former ‘Oney Lorcan’. Busick had been with the sports-entertainment company since 2015.

He stated that he has a 90-day no-compete clause in his contract. Biff was a part of the NXT brand before being released and NXT talents have 30-day no-competes. He took to his YouTube channel and explained that he signed a new deal when 205 Live began touring with the SmackDown brand and that is why his no-compete is for 90 days.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about why I have a 90-day no-compete rather than a 30-day no-compete. When I wrestled for 205 Live, the show used to travel around with SmackDown so when I got called to 205 Live, I re-signed a contract to a main roster contract so rather than have a 30-day no-compete that’s in the NXT contract, my contract contained a 90-day no-compete clause so I just wanted to clear that up for you.

Biff has began to announce dates for his post-WWE run. He is scheduled to partake in wXw’s 16 Carat Gold tournament in March.
