Juice Robinson will no longer be under contract come February.

Juice Robinson has been a part of New Japan Pro-Wrestling since 2015. The last time the 32-year-old Robinson competed in Japan was in March of this year and he’ll continuing competing for NJPW in the U.S. going forward.

He is scheduled to be in action on 11/13 at the NJPW STRONG ‘Battle in the Valley’ tapings against current IMPACT World Champion Moose. Sports Illustrated caught up with Juice to promote the show and he shared that he’ll no longer be under contract to New Japan come February.

I’ll be a free agent [in] February. It’s a great time in wrestling to show up anywhere, and maybe it’s the right time for me to spread my wings and fly.

Last week, it was reported by Fightful Select that Robinson’s New Japan deal is set to expire at the end of January 2022.

Along with competing on NJPW STRONG, Robinson is a regular on IMPACT programming and has held the company’s tag titles alongside David Finlay.
