Matches announced for the post-Full Gear edition of Dynamite.
AEW Dynamite on 11/17 is emanating from Norfolk, Virginia and that show will feature the AEW debut of former 5-time NEVER Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii. Ishii will be teaming with Orange Cassidy to take on The Butcher and The Blade. After this past Friday’s Rampage went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan told Orange Cassidy that he should bring one of his “friends from CHAOS” to back him up.
The TBS Championship tournament is continuing on the 11/17 Dynamite. Nyla Rose will meet Hikaru Shida in the quarterfinals. On the Full Gear BUY-IN, Shida pinned Nyla in their tag match. Shida teamed with Thunder Rosa versus Rose and Jamie Hayter.
Lio Rush is returning to AEW next week as he and Dante Martin are taking on The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster). Bowens and Caster confronted Dante Martin on The BUY-IN and while on their way to the ring, Caster made a joke about Rush’s past retirements. Lio was not present due to him and his family losing Rush’s grandmother.
