AEW Full Gear notes: Kingston refuses to shake Punk’s hand, Baron von Raschke, MJF/Darby

CM Punk scores a win over Eddie Kingston, Chris Jericho pins Dan Lambert, Britt Baker and FTR retain, Baron von Raschke gets physical

At AEW Full Gear, after hitting the ‘GTS’ finisher on Eddie Kingston, CM Punk scored the win. Punk offered his hand to Kingston but Kingston refused to shake it.

Kicking off the pay-per-view was MJF versus Darby Allin. MJF continuously stated that he could beat Darby with a side headlock takeover and he did just that. MJF hit Darby with brass knuckles, did a side headlock takeover and got the win.

During the Minneapolis Street Fight that saw The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Jake Hager & Ortiz) take on Ethan Page, Scorpio Sky, Dan Lambert, Junior dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski, Professional Wrestling Hall Of Famer Baron von Raschke got involved and locked in ‘The Iron Claw’ onto Page. The Inner Circle won the match after Jericho hit a ‘Frog Splash’ onto Dan Lambert.

The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M) retained the AEW World Tag Team Titles by defeating FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). FTR went under the ring and put on masks. Cash rolled back into the ring and was pinned but it was Dax who was the legal man. FTR is scheduled to defend the AAA World Tag Titles against Fenix and Penta and Triplemania Regia.

The AEW Women’s World Title was successfully defended by Britt Baker. She bested Tay Conti to hold onto the title.
