The second night of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament saw champion El Desperado lose another match in the main event.

Monday’s card from Korakuen Hall in front of 572 fans featured Taiji Ishimori submitting the IWGP junior heavyweight champion with the Bone Lock (a crossface) as Ishimori earned his first two points of the tournament.

Desperado, who just won the title last weekend at Power Struggle, has started the tournament 0-2 including Saturday’s opening night loss to SHO.

After two nights, there is a first-place tie between SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and DOUKI, who have all started the tournament with two wins.

SHO improved to 2-0 on Monday’s card by submitting Hiromu Takahashi after interference by the House of Torture including EVIL hitting Takahashi with Everything is Evil while the referee was down.
