In the main event of All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear pay-per-view, Hangman Adam Page ended Kenny Omega’s reign as AEW World Champion. Omega first captured the title in December 2020.
One month prior to Omega’s title win, he appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio and shared that he is working with a torn labrum and was doing his best to avoid surgery.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Omega will have all of his injuries and issues checked out this Wednesday. After the evaluation, it will be determined whether Omega is going to take a break from wrestling or not.
Over the weekend, Omega was featured in YouTube chiropractor Beau Hightower’s video and said he’s been dealing with vertigo since 2018.
Omega is scheduled to defend the AAA Mega Championship against Hijo del Vikingo at Triplemania Regia on December 4th.
