Ospreay discusses some of his plans for United Empire.

The United Empire group that was established in New Japan Pro-Wrestling has added three new members since being formally introduced. The first several members of the group were Will Ospreay, Great-O-Khan and current NXT UK talent Bea Priestley. A month after its formation, Jeff Cobb joined, followed by Aaron Henare and this year, United Empire gained the services of TJP and Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher).

While doing an online meet-and-greet for New Japan, Will Ospreay shared that he has intentions of adding a Joshi division to United Empire. He wants to have the talents represent the group in STARDOM.

I, believe or not, am very, very supportive of trying to get some women involved in this and I would like to actually have a United Empire Joshi division and then when Japan can open up, I would like to send all the girls to STARDOM to represent United Empire there so, I’ve got people in mind and it is a work in progress so keep your eye open for it.

United Empire was in action at NJPW’s ‘Detonation’ STRONG taping in Riverside, California. On night two of Wrestle Kingdom, Will Ospreay is scheduled to challenge either Shingo Takagi or Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
