During Friday’s taped edition of AEW Rampage, the promotion announced ‘Winter is Coming’ for the second year in a row as well as a match for next week’s ‘Black Friday’ show.
The second ‘Winter is Coming’ event will take place on Wednesday, December 15th with the Dynamite episode taking place from Garland, Texas.
Last year’s inaugural special featured Kenny Omega defeating Jon Moxley to win the AEW Championship and the arrival of Sting to the company.
During Rampage, it was announced that Eddie Kingston will take on Daniel Garcia on next week’s ‘Black Friday’ edition of Rampage, which will be taped two nights prior at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
Jade Cargill advanced in the TBS Tournament by defeating Red Velvet on Friday’s episode after hitting Jaded. Cargill will face the winner of the match between Thunder Rosa and Jamie Hayter that takes place next Wednesday.
On the broadcast, a challenge was issued by QT Marshall to face CM Punk in Chicago next Wednesday with Punk accepting the match later in the show.
