*Kickoff Show: Shinsuke Nakamura over Damian Priest by DQ in 9:25

The Kickoff Show featured Kayla Braxton, Kevin Patrick, Booker T., Jerry Lawler, and Peter Rosenberg.

Sasha Banks have a speech to Team SmackDown and put over the attributes of the team members except for Shotzi, whose name she couldn’t remember and told her to follow the lead of Banks and led to an argument.

The first match was called by Jimmy Smith, Pat McAfee, and Byron Saxton.

SHINSUKE NAKAMURA VS DAMIAN PRIEST

Nakamura escaped an arm lock after Rick Boogs started playing the guitar to distract Priest. Boogs repeatedly played and this got no reaction from the crowd.

Nakamura hit a sliding German dropping Priest from the middle. Nakamura came off the turnbuckle and was hit with a spinning heel kick to the mid-section.

McAfee was asking many questions about Priest and came off as he had never watched him before.

The Kinshasa was stopped with a chokeslam. Nakamura stopped the Reckoning and Priest moved to a Gogoplata but Boogs played and Nakamura broke free. Priest went after Boogs and destroyed the electric guitar, which got the loudest reaction of the match.

Priest snapped and struck Nakamura with the broken guitar and was disqualified.

WINNER: Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualification in 9 minutes and 25 seconds

This was a pretty lackluster match and then a groan-inducing finish. Obviously, for the sake of the numerical outcome Priest had to lose but they didn’t want to beat him.

The crowd wasn’t hot for this but did react to Priest breaking the guitar and below the level of a typical match from Priest on television with a weak finish that the crowd booed.

Kevin Owens interrupted the panel before the end of the kickoff. He wants to redeem himself tonight after his recent actions.

A limo pulled up with Vince McMahon getting out of it as the locker room cheered as he held a Faberge egg as a reference to ‘Red Notice’ on Netflix.

The pay-per-view opened with a video built around ‘Red Notice’ and the Survivor Series matches.

BECKY LYNCH VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR

Michael Cole, Pat McAfee, and Corey Graves are on commentary for this match.

Becky came out with her eyes locked on Flair and had to be restrained by the referee until the bell rang.

They started fast with a Natural Selection countered with a Disarmer and Flair escaping. They fought on the floor and Flair was sent into the post. There was a big “Becky” chant.

Flair climbed to the top and was shoved to the floor and injuring her knee. Back in the ring, they exchanged slaps and Flair palmed her face while on top as the audience was really engaged.

Flair: “Talk all your shit, Becky. Talk all your shit.”

Flair caught Becky with the Andrade spinning elbow and then dropped her with a boot for a two-count.

McAfee said this match will be talked about twenty years from now “and documentaries will be made about tonight”.

Becky hit the Man Handle Slam and Flair got her foot on the rope.

Becky did a “Woo” and applied the figure-four and they did the Frank Shamrock and Bas Rutten slaps as Flair reversed the hold.

Becky was sent off the apron with a boot and Flair hit the moonsault off the top that barely hit Lynch and the announcers took note of the miss.

Flair applied the Disarmer inside the ring and Becky reached the rope.

Flair used an O’Connor roll and grabbed the rope, which was caught by the referee. Becky reversed it and grabbed the rope at the last moment, which the referee missed, and Becky pinned her.

WINNER: Becky Lynch in 18 minutes and 15 seconds

Flair smiled and grabbed her title before leaving the ring.

It was basically the same way Becky Lynch retained the title at Crown Jewel but a weak ending for, arguably, the most intriguing match on the show.

The match was excellent with a different level of intensity than most WWE matches, and both worked terrific off one another and leaned into the rivalry and got the maximum value out of it for the match.

They aired several highlights of The Rock starting with his on-screen debut at the 1996 Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden.

MEN’S SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH

Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley & Austin Theory) vs. Team SmackDown (Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, Happy Corbin, King Woods & Sheamus)

McAfee said there is a year’s worth of bragging rights at stake and it’s not just ratings that you talk about,

Amazingly, there were light chants of “let’s go SmackDown” and “let’s go Raw” at the beginning.

The match began and Owens walked out on the team and was immediately counted out.

As always, there was a huge reaction for Hardy, who is always among the most popular even though he isn’t push at that level.

Corbin was the next elimination after Balor hit the Coup de Grace at the eight-minute mark.

Lashley went to the opposite corner and grabbed McIntyre to run him into the post off his shoulders. Lashley knocked Woods off the top turnbuckle, tagged in, and speared Woods before applying The Hurt Lock for the submission and elimination.

Balor and Rollins did some great tag team spots with stereo sling blades and then a dive by Rollins after Balor was caught on the floor. Lashley and McIntyre were tagged in for the big showdown. They brawled to the floor and Lashley clotheslined him over the barricade and both were counted out. McIntyre hit Lashley with a Claymore before they left.

Rollins waved ‘goodbye’ to McIntyre and was hit with a Glasgow Kiss allowing Sheamus to get a near-fall. Balor hit Sheamus with the shotgun dropkick and missed the Coup de Grace, Sheamus landed the Brogue kick and eliminated Balor.

It’s down to Rollins & Austin Theory against Sheamus & Jeff Hardy.

Sheamus and Hardy did a Poetry in Motion spot together followed by both landing the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán.

Rollins yanked Hardy off the apron, Sheamus had no one to tag and Theory caught him with a roll-up using the trunks for the pin. Sheamus attacked Hardy before leaving for not being there.

Rollins hit a frog splash and Hardy kicked out. Hardy fought back and sent Theory off the top, hit the Swanton, and eliminated him.

Hardy hit the Twist of Fate, he climbed as the crowd went wild, and the Swanton landed on Rollins’ knees. Rollins hit The Stomp and pinned Hardy.

WINNERS: Team Raw (Sole Survivor – Seth Rollins) in 29 minutes and 55 seconds

A really entertaining match that was structured well and had a hot crowd especially down the stretch with the wise move of leaning on Hardy’s popularity for maximum impact by the end.

It also sparks several programs on both shows coming out of the match given some of the eliminations and attacks.

A clip of The Rock winning the WWF Championship for the first time at the Survivor Series in 1998 when he beat Mankind in the finals of the 14-man tournament that night in St. Louis.

Roman Reigns walked up to a security guard in front of Vince McMahon’s office, the guard walked away, and Reigns walked into the room. He met with McMahon and Cleopatra’s egg that Vince said was given to him by Reigns’ cousin, Dwayne Johnson. He said the egg is worth $100 million and Reigns that’s what his next contract will be worth, and he left.

25-MAN BATTLE ROYAL (Sami Zayn, Humberto, Angel, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Otis, Chad Gable, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Jinder Mahal, Shanky, AJ Styles, Omos, Drew Gulak, R-Truth, Viking Raiders, The Street Profits, Mansoor, Cesaro, T-Bar, and Ricochet)

Sami Zayn, Ricochet, AJ Styles & Omos received entrances while the others were already in the ring.

This was a Pizza Hut commercial with the ring and entrance surrounded by pizza boxes.

Omos immediately started tossing out Gulak and Benjamin.

R-Truth got a slice of pizza to offer Omos and Otis. Otis ate it and it tasted good. Then, he threw Truth out. Omos clotheslined Otis out.

Cesaro eliminated Gable with an uppercut sending him off the apron.

The crowd chanted “we want pizza”.

Shanky made several eliminations and then had a face-off with Omos, what a dream come true. Omos took Shanky and threw him over the top rope.

Mansoor was sent out with a catapult by Roode. Omos threw out Roode after grabbing him by the throat for his sixth elimination.

Ziggler was speaking with Omos as Styles caught him with a Phenomenal Forearm and threw Ziggler.

Zayn tried to convince Ricochet and Cesaro to rally together but got no help and was thrown out.

Omos eliminated Commander Azeez. Styles yelled at Azeez and he tried to pull Styles out as Omos grabbed Styles’ leg, he was hit from behind and let go, which eliminated Styles.

Omos was upset and tossed Crews out.

Omos fought off Cesaro and Angelo Dawkins and eliminated both for his ninth and tenth eliminations.

It’s down to Omos, Montez Ford, and Ricochet.

Ford was thrown out by Omos.

Ricochet was thrown over and Omos made twelve eliminations.

WINNER: Omos in 10 minutes and 38 seconds

It was a pure showcase of Omos with the dominant outing with twelve eliminations while also teasing a future falling out with Styles based on the way AJ was eliminated.

The match was nothing special but the company probably netted a pretty payday from Pizza Hut.

A clip of The Rock winning the Royal Rumble in 2000 (which he actually lost to The Big Show) at Madison Square Garden.

THE USOS VS RANDY ORTON & RIDDLE

The Usos had the heat on Riddle and kept him away from Orton.

Jey ran at Riddle and was hit with a head kick but Jimmy prevented Riddle from making the tag.

Riddle finally made the hot tag. Orton hit powerslams to both Usos and dropped Jey onto the announcer’s desk followed by the same to Jimmy.

Orton hit a draping DDT on Jey but the RKO was blocked. Riddle was tagged and had a big burst of offense on The Usos until he was cut off by Jey.

Riddle was hit with the Alley-Uce, double superkicks to both Orton and Riddle but the latter kicked out.

Jey went for the Uso Splash on Riddle but leaped into an RKO by Orton outta nowhere and Orton pinned him.

WINNERS: Randy Orton & Riddle in 14 minutes and 46 seconds

A fun tag match built around Riddle’s selling and series of comebacks by the babyfaces and a strong ending with the Uso Splash into the RKO.

The win gives Raw a 4-1 edge in the matches tonight with two matches remaining.

The next Rock clip was the match with John Cena at WrestleMania 28 in Miami in 2012.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are in Vince McMahon’s office. Vince sat down and noticed Cleopatra’s egg is missing and he wants the cops to be called. Vince wants Pearce to interview every performer and suspects one of them took it or he’ll be on Raw tomorrow night to get to the bottom of it.

Cole summarized the segment stating both Raw and SmackDown members will be on Raw tomorrow night because of this missing egg.

WOMEN’S SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH

Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Carmella, Queen Zelina & Liv Morgan vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Shayna Baszler, Natalya & Toni Storm)

Carmella was getting her mask, returned to the ring and got rolled up by Storm very early in the match.

Baszler tried to stomp Ripley’s elbow and was stopped. Baszler blocked several attempts at the Riptide. Baszler got Ripley’s back for the Kirifuda Clutch, but Ripley threw her off her back. The Riptide was stopped by Shotzi.

All the women fought in the ring ending with Baszler and Ripley and leading to Banks and Belair being tagged.

Banks was able to get the Bank Statement, kicked off the rope and Belair got to her feet and escaped. Belair went for a handspring and knocked Natalya to the floor. The KOD was countered by Banks.

Vega was tagged in and eliminated by Storm moments later.

Morgan fought off Baszler and hit Oblivion on Storm for the elimination.

Morgan attempted Oblivion on Baszler, which was caught and applied the Kirifuda Clutch. Shotzi and Banks hit frog splashes and Morgan was gone.

After being outnumbered, Ripley was drilled by a knee strike from Baszler and was eliminated.

Belair was on her own against Banks, Shotzi, Baszler, and Natalya.

Banks and Shotzi argued on the floor, Banks shoved Shotzi into Baszler. Then, Banks and Natalya argued, and Banks kept being pulled out by her teammates and was counted out.

Belair took the fight with the remaining three.

Belair broke out of the sharpshooter by sending Natalya into Baszler on the apron and cradled Natalya for the pin.

Baszler attempted the Kirifuda Clutch but it was countered with the KOD and Baszler is gone.

Belair and Shotzi are the final two.

After missing in the corner, Belair hoisted Shotzi and hit the match-winning KOD.

WINNERS: Team SmackDown (Sole Survivor – Bianca Belair) in 23 minutes and 46 seconds

It had the right story with Belair running the table and winning the match for her team as SmackDown is getting decimated.

The match had its moments and tried to elevate Toni Storm with two eliminations earlier in the match.

The final clip of The Rock was his appearance on the first episode of SmackDown on The Rock in October 2019 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the segment with Becky Lynch and Baron Corbin.

Paul Heyman was backstage and jumped when Kayla Braxton appeared out of nowhere. Heyman doesn’t know anything about the theft of the egg and blames the fans in Brooklyn. Kayla said she has heard that Brock Lesnar’s suspension “is no longer indefinite” and Heyman gets serious and says she should speak with Adam Pearce.

ROMAN REIGNS VS BIG E.

Nick Khan could be seen sitting in the front row.

Reigns exited to the floor with Heyman reassuring him after Big E. got off to a stronger start. Reigns took control of the match for a long time and repeatedly rammed E into the post. E reversed an Irish whip and sent Reigns into the steps.

The audience came off subdued during the first half of this match.

Reigns broke out of a stretch muffler and Reigns hit a Rock Bottom, which led to a “Rocky” chant.

Reigns hit E with three Superman punches but E got to his feet and attempted the Big Ending, which was stopped. E speared Reigns off the apron to the floor.

Back in the ring, Reigns hit the spear and E kicked out. The crowd was alive now.

Reigns applied the guillotine in the center of the ring but E hoisted Reigns and hit the Big Ending but Reigns grabbed the bottom rope.

Reigns attacked the knee on the floor, countered the Big Ending in the ring, clipped the knee, and speared E for the victory.

WINNER: Roman Reigns in 21 minutes and 53 seconds
