WWE Raw notes: Austin Theory stole Vince McMahon’s egg, Seth Rollins, Riddle/Orton

Austin Theory awarded WWE Title opportunity for stealing Vince McMahon's egg, Seth Rollins jokes about incident with fan, Dana Brooke/Cedric

At Survivor Series, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon brought a ‘Cleopatra egg’ to the show. It was stolen out of his office and that storyline carried over to tonight’s Raw. McMahon stated whoever turned in the individual responsible for stealing the egg would receive a WWE Title match. Sami Zayn discovered that Austin Theory took the egg. McMahon ended up awarding Theory with a WWE Title opportunity and told Sami that no one likes a snitch. Big E defeated Theory to retain the WWE Championship.

Following Seth Rollins’ segment with Finn Balor, a fan jumped the guardrail and tackled Rollins. Before the main event between Big E and Austin Theory got underway, Rollins made his way out to the ringside area and jokingly looked side-to-side before walking down the aisle.

Cedric Alexander and Reggie went one-on-one for the 24/7 Championship. Cedric won the title but was hit with a ‘neckbreaker’ from Dana Brooke and Brooke pinned Cedric to become champion.

Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle sported Randy Orton-like attire, a fake goatee and did Orton’s signature entrance before defeating Dolph Ziggler with an ‘RKO’. Post-match, Orton hit the ‘BroDerek’ on Robert Roode.

Despite not getting a shot at the WWE Title, Sami Zayn challenged Damian Priest for the United States Championship. Priest held an open challenge and it was initially answered by Apollo Crews. Crews then said he would not be taking on Priest and that led to Zayn stepping in. Priest defeated Zayn with ‘The Reckoning’.

Dominik and Rey Mysterio took on Bobby Lashley in a Handicap match. Lashley tapped Dominik out for the win.
