Samuray Del Sol, Hijo del Vikingo and Jay Lethal to compete in the vacant AAA Mega Title match.
After losing the AEW World Title at Full Gear, Kenny Omega relinquished the AAA Mega Championship as he is set to take time off to undergo several surgeries. Omega was scheduled to defend the title against Hijo del Vikingo at Triplemania Regia.
A new champion will be crowned at Triplemania Regia and joining Vikingo in the match for the vacant title is Samuray Del Sol, the former ‘Kalisto’ and recent All Elite Wrestling signee Jay Lethal.

On the 11/3 AEW Dynamite, Samuray Del Sol and Aero Star made their AEW in-ring debuts when they took on FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). FTR will be competing at Triplemania Regia on 12/4 when they defend the AAA World Tag Titles against AEW World Tag Team Champions Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix.
