Koguma and Waka Tsukiyama are no longer working for STARDOM as freelancers.

At the end of the month, STARDOM is running an event at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall and a press conference was held to promote the event. During the press conference, STARDOM CEO Rossy Ogawa confirmed that Koguma and Waka Tsukiyama have signed contracts with the promotion.

Koguma returned to STARDOM in March of this year and has been working as a freelancer. Tsukiyama joined STARDOM in September and was also working as a freelancer up until this point. Below are excepts from the press conference:

Ogawa: First of all, I would like to report that Koguma and Waka Tsukiyama are now officially affiliated. Until now, they were treated as freelancers, but from now on, they are officially affiliated and under contract.

Koguma: I’m Koguma from STARS [faction]. Now that I’m finally a member of STARS, I’m going to continue to follow my own fun style of wrestling and shine even more in STARS and STARDOM.

Tsukiyama: I am Waka Tsukiyama from ANGELS. I’m very happy to be a member of COSMIC ANGELS. I’m going to train harder than ever, and since I’ve never won before, I’m going to be more greedy for victory.

Ogawa: To be clear, there are some fighters who are currently in STARDOM (as freelancers), but at first they are treated as freelancers, and after a few months, they become official members of Stardom.

At STARDOM’s Sumo Hall show, Giulia is making her return to the ring after being sidelined with a neck injury. She’ll be going one-on-one with Konami, who is scheduled to take a hiatus from wrestling after the match with Giulia.
