Koji Iwamoto to depart All Japan Pro Wrestling after contract expires

All Japan Pro Wrestling will be losing several members of their talent roster at the end of December 2021

Another departure from All Japan Pro Wrestling.

At the conclusion of this month, All Japan Pro Wrestling is losing Zeus, Naoya Nomura and now Koji Iwamoto. The company confirmed that Iwamoto’s contract is expiring and he has decided to leave.

Iwamoto and Nomura will have their last match[es] for All Japan on December 16th at Korakuen Hall. Nomura is taking on Yuma Aoyagi in singles competition and Iwamoto is scheduled to team with Black Menso-re against Rising HAYATO and Atsuki Aoyagi. All Japan noted in their press release to continue supporting all parties involved as they go their respective ways.

We would like to announce that Naoya Nomura and Koji Iwamoto, who belong to our company, will leave the company on December 31, 2021 due to the expiration of their contracts.

In accordance with their resignation, they will have their last match as a member at the Korakuen tournament on December 16th.

Please continue to support Naoya Nomura, Koji Iwamoto and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Iwamoto has been a part of All Japan since 2016. Prior to joining All Japan on a full-time basis, he worked with DDT Pro Wrestling and made an appearance for Dragon Gate.
