AEW Dynamite saw a small increase for Wednesday’s episode while finishing fifth among cable originals on Wednesday.
The December 8th episode from Long Island averaged 872,000 viewers with approximately 426,000 (0.33) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
The show finished fifth on cable behind two NBA games, The Challenge on MTV, and Real Housewives. Dynamite went against the Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks that averaged 1,257,000 and 0.45 in 18-49, finishing second behind the later game.
This week’s episode of Dynamite saw a small increase in total viewers from 861,000 last week and was up 5 percent in 18-49 from the week prior.
Dynamite was tied with Raw in males 18-49 with each show averaging 295,000, per Brandon Thurston with Dynamite narrowly edging Raw in females 18-34 by 1,000 viewers and in females 35-49 by 5,000 viewers.
Dynamite did a 0.45 in males 18-49, which was #4 for the night behind the NBA and SportsCenter.
The show was down 5.5 percent in adults 18-34 from the week prior.
In Canada, Dynamite dropped 9 percent in viewership with 152,200 viewers and 83,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2.
