Kevin Owens will not be leaving WWE after the news that the performer has signed a multi-year agreement with the company.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp broke the news that the 37-year old has re-signed with his existing deal set to expire at the end of January 2022.

Pat Laprade of TVA Sports and Les anti-pods de la lutte confirmed the news stating that he interviewed Owens about the new deal, which will be released on Thursday.

Fightful reports that Owens has signed a multi-year agreement with the company with negotiations beginning this fall.

Owens signed with WWE in 2014 and debuted on NXT programming at the December TakeOver event that year. He quickly became NXT champion in early 2015 and was on the main roster that spring.

In September 2016, he won the vacant Universal Championship after Finn Balor sustained an injury the previous month. Owens would hold the championship until the following March, losing to Bill Goldberg.

Owens is scheduled for the fatal four-way match for the WWE Championship against champion Big E., Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley at the Day 1 card in Atlanta, Georgia on January 1st.
