The first match for AEW’s ‘Battle of the Belts’ is set as Dr. Britt Baker will defend the women’s championship.
On Friday’s edition of Rampage, it was confirmed that Baker will defend her championship against Riho on Saturday, January 8th.
The match was set up after Riho defeated Baker in a ‘Black Friday Deal Match’ on the November 26th edition of Rampage to receive a future title match.
The ‘Battle of the Belts’ event will be the first of four specials to air on TNT throughout the year with the promotion announcing a start time of 8 p.m. ET.
The event takes place from the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.
