Three title matches scheduled for NXT New Year’s Evil.

NXT 2.0’s first show of the new year will be New Year’s Evil on January 4th. During tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0, three matches were made official for the event. The reigning North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will meet Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong at New Year’s Evil in a championship unification match. On next week’s program, NXT commentator Wade Barrett will host the contract signing between Hayes and Strong.

Tommaso Ciampa is scheduled to defend his NXT Championship against Bron Breakker at New Year’s Evil. Breakker pinned Ciampa in the men’s WarGames match. Back at Halloween Havoc in October, Ciampa and Breakker went one-on-one for the title and Ciampa retained.

In addition to those bouts, announced for New Year’s Evil is Mandy Rose putting her NXT Women’s Title on the line in a Triple-Threat involving Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade.

Following tonight’s NXT 2.0, the upNXT crew is going live on their Twitch channel with a review of the show. That review can also be heard via the ‘upNXT’ section of the POST Wrestling site.
