NXT 2.0’s Grayson Waller debuts on Raw.
AJ Styles was scheduled to go one-on-one with Omos on tonight’s WWE Raw. Their match did not take place but during AJ’s in-ring segment, he was interrupted and confronted by NXT 2.0’s Grayson Waller.
Grayson approached Styles and stated that he likes the feel of Monday nights and might be coming for Styles’ spot once Omos is done with him. Styles appeared on last week’s NXT 2.0 and addressed Waller in person.
The segment on Raw led to a singles match between Styles and Apollo Crews which Styles won.
Per PWInsider, Omos is not present backstage in Detroit for Raw. The site noted that he was in the city earlier today but flew home before the show began. Styles and Omos wrestled at WWE’s house show at Madison Square Garden on 12/26.
On the 12/28 NXT 2.0 on USA Network, Grayson Waller is scheduled to take on Dexter Lumis in singles competition.
