The WWE live event scheduled for Toronto this week has been postponed until next March.
The Coca-Cola Coliseum announced the postponement on Monday evening with a new date of March 27, 2022.
This comes as the province of Ontario continues to report high cases numbers for COVID-19 with a seven-day average of 7,550 cases per day and a high of 10,412 this past Saturday.

Several WWE performers missed the events in New York and Tampa on Sunday with announcements made that there would be some absences “due to the effects of COVID”.
No talents have outright stated they have tested positive, although Seth Rollins strongly alluded to it in a tweet. Dave Meltzer noted that not everyone removed from the shows had tested positive as some were done as precautionary measures with the upcoming pay-per-view this weekend.
The Toronto postponement comes after the news of WWE postponing Thursday’s event that was set for Laval, Quebec, and was postponed to next March as well.
The show in Toronto was scheduled to be hosted by former women’s champion and Hall of Fame member Trish Stratus.
