The Miz and Maryse were going to renew their wedding vows on the 12/27 Monday Night Raw. They were interrupted by Miz’s WWE ‘Day 1’ opponent Edge. After exchanging words with Miz, Edge left the ring and shortly after, Miz and Maryse were given a ‘Brood Bath’.
Eric Bischoff returned to WWE to be the official for The Miz and Maryse’s wedding vows renewal. Bischoff was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame earlier this year. He made an appearance for All Elite Wrestling in 2021 as well.

Nikki A.S.H. issued a challenge to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella on behalf of herself and Rhea Ripley. Carmella accepted the challenge. It was not announced when the match is taking place. Carmella and Queen Zelina defeated Ripley and Nikki for the titles in November.
The United States Title was on the line as the champion Damian Priest defended against Dolph Ziggler. Priest was disqualified for not halting his punches before the referee’s five count.
