K-ness retiring from in-ring competition.
At Dragon Gate’s show in Kobe, Japan, Makoto Saitō, known as ‘K-ness’ appeared and made the announcement that he is retiring from in-ring competition. K-ness is in his late 40s and has been wrestling since the mid-1990s.
He’s been sidelined since July due to issues stemming from his neck. His retirement match is scheduled to take place on April 7th at Korakuen Hall. He will not be able to compete until the retirement match but plans to attend all Dragon Gate events and partake in autograph signings.
He wrote the following about his retirement:
Although I will not be able to compete, I would like to greet my fans all over Japan, so I plan to accompany them to all the [shows] until I retire.

K-ness first began working with Dragon Gate in 2004. He is a former Open the Triangle Gate, Twin Gate and Brave Gate champion in the promotion.
