Six-man tag added to New Year’s Evil.
The NXT 2.0 brand’s first event of 2022 is their New Year’s Evil special on January 4th. The match card is rounding out and the latest addition to the card is a six-man tag that will feature WALTER and Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle.
Riddle was supposed to accompany MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) to the ring to back them up as they called out Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) for the NXT Tag Team Titles . WALTER and Riddle both appeared via video and as WALTER was insulting MSK, Riddle jumped in and issued the six-man tag challenge to Imperium for next week.
WALTER accepted and it is now official that WALTER, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel are taking on Nash Carter, Wes Lee and Riddle at New Year’s Evil.

- NXT Women’s Championship — Triple-Threat Match: Mandy Rose (c) vs. Raquel Gonzalez vs. Cora Jade
- NXT North American and Cruiserweight Championships: Carmelo Hayes (North American) (w/ Trick Williams) vs. Roderick Strong (Cruiserweight) (w/ Malcolm Bivens)
- AJ Styles appearance
