STARDOM’s Dream Queendom event took place Wednesday from Ryogoku Sumo Hall with the anticipated rematch between Utami Hayashishita and Syuri.
It was the feud that helped elevate the entire company throughout 2021 following their initial match last June that ended in a draw after 43+ minutes at Tokyo Dream Cinderella at Ota Ward Gymnasium.
The two had a rematch during the 5 Star Grand Prix this past September that ended after a 20-minute draw.
The main event of Wednesday’s show that Syuri finally unseat the champion and ended Hayashishita’s thirteen-month title reign as World of STARDOM champion.
It was a double championship match with Syuri putting her SWA championship on the line as well.
Hayashishita became the World of STARDOM champion in November 2020 defeating Mayu Iwatani.
