Drew McIntyre reacts to the Jeff Hardy-WWE house show situation that was followed by Jeff’s release.

Following WWE’s live event on December 4th in Edinburg, Texas, it was first reported by PWInsider that Jeff Hardy had been sent home for an unknown reason. Hardy was involved in a six-man tag and teamed with Drew McIntyre and King Woods. Hardy was not in the vicinity when the match concluded.

This situation was followed by Hardy being released from the company and his brother Matt Hardy has since shared his thoughts about what transpired and said Jeff is doing fine.

Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN interviewed Drew McIntyre and asked him about how things unfolded leading up to Jeff’s release from WWE. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

For one, as usual, the internet can take something and blow [it] out of proportion. But all I’ll say on the matter is I just want what’s best for Jeff and for him to be healthy. As long as he’s good, as long as he’s healthy, as long as he’s happy with his family, then Drew McIntyre is happy.

Jeff appeared on Matt Hardy’s Twitch stream via a pre-taped video to promote the acoustic concert tour he’s currently on. Matt added that Jeff will give his recount of what happened during his last night with WWE when he’s ready.
