WOW announces the passing of one of their originals.
WOW (Women of Wrestling) learned that one of their original ‘Superheroes’, Patty Ann Bunyaanata passed away. Patty Ann was known on-screen as ‘Boom Boom’ and her character was an island woman from Hawaii. She was tag team partners with Rachel Iverson (Caliente).
WOW posted the following on social media:
We send our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends & fans of Patty Ann Bunyaanata, known to our WOW family as Boom Boom. We are sad to learn of her passing. Patty was an original WOW Superhero that possessed the “pizzazz personality” that made her a natural fan favorite

Patty Ann’s finisher was the ‘Boom Boom Squash’. She headlined the 10th episode of Women of Wrestling which was taped on November 4th in 2000.
