Chase Owens shares that he tested positive for COVID-19, but is doing fine and has no symptoms

Chase Owens pulls himself from several shows due to a positive COVID test.

On nights one and two of Wrestle Kingdom 16 at the Tokyo Dome, Chase Owens was in action. He was in the New Japan Ranbo on night one and competed in the KOPW 2022 trophy match on night two. Owens has since returned to the U.S. and he was scheduled for KFW Wrestling and Innovative Wrestling events this weekend but tested positive for COVID-19.

Owens announced that he is pulling himself off those respective shows. He noted that he felt horrible this past Wednesday and Thursday and tested negative for the virus. He started getting better on Saturday and tested positive today. Owens adds that he is doing fine now.

New Japan is resuming live events on January 20th. Here is the full card for that Korakuen Hall event:
