Grayson Waller’s protection is Saurav Gurjar.
The opening match of the 1/18 NXT 2.0 was Grayson Waller versus Dexter Lumis. Waller was able to score a victory after Lumis was attacked on the outside by Saurav Gujar. Saurav is now aligned with Waller on NXT TV.

Saurav competed on the 1/11 edition of 205 Live. That was his first match since the Superstar Spectacle show in January 2021.
Prior to that, he was last in action during the summer of 2020 when he was still a part of Indus Sher alongside Veer with Malcolm Bivens managing the group.
To kick off NXT 2.0, Waller was called out to the ring by L.A. Knight. Waller shared that he filed a restraining order against Knight, but he soon had to decide to either face Lumis or drop the restraining order and step into the ring with L.A. Knight.
