The GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles have been vacated and new champions are going to be crowned on January 22nd

New GHC Junior Tag Team Champions to be crowned.

Pro Wrestling NOAH made the announcement that Yoshinari Ogawa and HAYATA have been stripped of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. Recently, there were ten active talents who are a part of NOAH’s roster that were pulled from the company’s 1/16 show after multiple talents tested positive for COVID or came into close contact with an individual that did test positive.

Ogawa was one of the talents that tested positive and he was scheduled to defend the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles alongside HAYATA on 1/22 in Osaka, Japan. He is unable to compete and as a result, NOAH opted to strip him and HAYATA of the titles.

On 1/22, Hajime Ohara and Atsushi Kotoge will take on Seiki Yoshioka and Yuya Susumu for the vacant tag titles.

HAYATA and Ogawa first captured the titles this past November at ‘NOAH The Best’. HAYATA also lost the GHC Junior Heavyweight Title to Daisuke Harada on 1/10.
