New Japan Pro Wrestling scraps January events due to COVID-19 protocols

Due to medical protocols, New Japan Pro Wrestling has canceled its remaining shows this month.

Due to medical protocols, New Japan Pro Wrestling has canceled its remaining shows this month.

The company stated that due to a number of wrestlers with elevated temperatures and others coming in close contact, they decided to either cancel or postpone the shows over the next week.

The following events have been canceled:
*Thursday, January 25 in Fukushima
*Saturday, January 29 at Korakuen Hall
*Sunday, January 30 in Ibaraki

This Friday’s event in Aichi has been postponed until Monday, April 18th.

Refunds have been made available for those that had purchased tickets.

Their next show scheduled is Sunday, February 6th in Chiba.
