The long-awaited match between CM Punk and MJF is set for next week’s edition of Dynamite.
The match was officially made during a promo segment involving the two on Wednesday’s edition of Beach Break from Cleveland, Ohio.
The match will take place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, and will be Punk’s third match in his home state since his return to pro wrestling last summer.
For the weeks, the two have been cutting promos on one another with Punk defeating Shawn Spears and Wardlow in the prelude to the showdown with MJF.
During Wednesday’s segment, MJF noted they were in Cleveland, which was the city CM Punk was scheduled to appear in on the day he walked out of WWE back in January 2014.
