Jonathan Gresham will be unable to participate in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles this weekend after announcing he has COVID.
The ROH champion issued a brief statement on Friday morning announcing he had COVID and was the reason he missed last Sunday’s GCW event at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
As of Friday, Gresham still tested positive for the virus and will not be taking part in the BOLA events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Los Angeles.
Gresham was scheduled to wrestle Davey Richards in the opening round of the tournament on Saturday’s show.
Unfortunately, I will not be making it to LA tomorrow for BOLA. I recently caught covid, and as a result, I had to miss GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
I am still testing positive as of today and don't want to put any colleagues/fans in harms way.
