The former IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion has not competed under the New Japan banner since October of 2021 when he and Eddie Kingston took on Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer at a STRONG taping in Philadelphia.
Moxley’s 500-plus day reign as IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion was ended by Lance Archer last summer in a Texas Death match.
Next week on AEW Dynamite, Archer is going to challenge Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Title in a Texas Death match.
